Works fine but gets in way
I needed to extend an inverter from the ashtray and this product did the trick. The top outlet wasn't usable because the dash was in the way but it made it possible to use the inverter. It does take up a lot of room and I have not found a good place to store it. But all in all it got the job done.
Fried my cigarette lighter
The build quality of the Gilsson Universal 3-way Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Splitter is very poor.
The two cigarette sockets on it are a bit too large, and they really do not hold on at all, so unless you can get gravity to work for you, power will cut in and out on bumpy roads.
The part that inserts into your car lighter has a small piece of metal that keeps coming unattached. It ended up inside my cigarette lighter and I fried...
